Farrah Hussein

Neighborhood Law Corps

Farrah Hussein is an attorney in the Neighborhood Law Corps, which is part of the Affirmative Litigation, Innovation & Enforcement Division of the City Attorney's Office. The Neighborhood Law Corps is an award-winning program that focuses on difficult issues facing neighborhoods including human trafficking, substandard housing and public safety.

Ms. Hussein is assigned to OPD Command Area 2 (Rockridge, North Oakland).

Ms. Hussein was admitted to the State Bar in December of 2016, and is a Dean’s List graduate from John F. Kennedy School of Law. Her background is primarily in criminal prosecution. She has previously worked for the Alameda County DA’s Office, JAG-US Coast Guard, and clerked for a Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge.

Ms. Hussein was born and raised in Pleasant Hill, California and enjoys tennis, kickboxing and cooking.
