Melosa Granda

Neighborhood Law Corps

Melosa Granda is an attorney in the Neighborhood Law Corps, which is part of the Affirmative Litigation, Innovation & Enforcement Division of the City Attorney's Office. The Neighborhood Law Corps is an award-winning program that focuses on difficult issues facing neighborhoods including human trafficking, substandard housing and public safety.

Ms. Granda is assigned to OPD Command Area 3 (Eastlake, Fruitvale).

Ms. Granda earned a doctor of jurisprudence with a specialization certificate in environmental law and a master of laws in international legal studies from Golden Gate University School of Law. Her professional background includes work in community organizing, international human rights and environmental justice litigation. Ms. Granda was born and raised on Kauai, Hawaii, and has resided in the Bay Area since 2005 where she enjoys hiking, salsa dancing and celebrating food.
