Jordan Flanders

Deputy City Attorney / Advisory Division

Jordan Flanders is a Deputy City Attorney in both the Land Use & Planning Unit and the Real Estate Unit of the Advisory Division.

Prior to joining the City Attorney’s Office in 2018, Ms. Flanders practiced land use law at Allen Matkins in San Francisco, where she advised on a wide variety of land use and real estate matters, including resource agency permitting, public-private partnerships, CEQA litigation and compliance, funding mechanisms for infrastructure projects, and public land and development transactions.

Ms. Flanders received her law degree from Stanford Law School, where she founded the Food Law and Policy Society and drafted a number of local public health ordinances. After law school, she advised a non-profit housing trust on issues involving limited equity conversion and affordable housing development.
